Spot on.. and also what you said here and what Abriael said here ... it's the same group who're also used to the legacy simming way of needing a gazillion add-ons to make themselves a Serious Simmer ™️platform and insist that's the only way, and can't stand or cope with the fact that those legacy ways along with those sim platforms are fading fast into irrelevancy. November 17, 20241 yr Just now, Sethos said: Yes it is Look here I have no time for that and voted NO but if anyone else thinks a career mode is legit with 2 Cessna 172 circuits to get a PPL than more power to them but that is not how the real world works in aviation but most people would be bored after a few minutes and do a proper PPL test that can take up to 6 months. But have fun in MSFS v2024 simulating that I just want to do my normal DC to Atlanta flying maybe twice a week.

November 17, 20241 yr Avsim: Where adult men from around the world get angry over yellow tint, ATC with AI debate and still find the time to debate the "game vs sim" debacle. All the while saying/implying you dont have a life if you enjoy a very particular niche hobby in a certain specific way. I remember a user on this site would argue/debate several people on why they shouldn't use certain programs to change the coloration of their sim because it didn't have that yellow tint the user explained was so valuable as in real life. Yeah, everyone has different monitors, settings and live in different parts of the world. Impossible to make it exact. In the end, literally nobody cared and adjusted their monitors to their liking anyway since everyone has different monitors to begin with. Different tastes, different apps etc. The point is this: who cares if people enjoy what they enjoy? It's just a hobby and you dont need to be immature about other people's choices. Opinions? Sure. Acting immature and rude about it? Nah. Pick a different forum.
