From which developer did you buy the most aircraft?

Featured Replies

I have a real mixed bad of GA aircraft - no tubes - which I suppose makes me a bit of a moron

to some - probably because my PPL was all singles and twins

i/m sure I read somewhere that Carenado was given the 2024 SDK details back in Feb - so we might

expect that they should work right off ?

Probably better for me to say who I DONT buy from 😁 Aerosoft. Captain Sim.

  • Excluding freeware, because the OP mentioned payware aircraft only - otherwise the FBW 320 would be among the most used... 3 aircraft from: PMDG 2 aircraft from: ASOBO, CARENADO, FLYINSIDE,

  • Don't be surprised, it has probably been that way for most of us since the old days of P3D. In those days, most of my fleet were Carenado, like the Shrike, the B1900D, the Shorts, and many others. The

Lancair Legacy for G.A. flying

I remember the Lancair probably still on a backup drive somewhere…

PMDG going back 20 years, but they are no longer king of the hill! Loving the iFly Max8, Fenix Airbuses and the TDFI MD11

I've owned every version of flight simulator since Flight Simulator 3.0 in 1988.

Windows 11 Pro loaded on a 4TB Gen5 Crucial T700 SSD, 4TB Samsung 990 Pro SSD, Ryzen 9 7950x3d, AS Rock X670e Taichi Motherboard, Gigabyte Gaming RTX 4090 OC 24GB, 64GB (2x32GB) Viper Venom  DDR5-6000MT/s, MSI 32" MAG 321UPX QD-OLED 260hz 4K Gaming Monitor.

I have two payware aircraft, so the answer in my case is PMDG and FSReborn.

For MSFS i have purchased 8 planes, but fly only Black Square ones.

Since I paid for MSFS, I guess the most payware aircraft I own are from Asobo/Microsoft, including Reno Racing. 😉
But if the OP means third party payware then the collection is very small:

  • 3x Carenado (C-170, Waco, PA-28)
  • 2x IFE (MB-339, M-346)
  • 1x Ant's Airplanes (Tiger Moth)
  • 1x Sim Work Studios (Kodiak)

I bought every aircraft RealAir made for FSX so they are top, with PMDG a close second.

FS2024 • PMDG 738, 77F • FSL A321 • A2A Comanche, Aerostar • BS Baron, Bonanza, Caravan Pro • JF Tomahawk • TAOG H500C
BeyondATC • GSX Pro • ChasePlane & Flow Pro • TDS GTNXi • FSUIPC • AutoFPS • RealTurb

9800X3D B650E • ROG OC RTX 5090 • 64GB DDR5-6000 • VKB Gladiator, STECS, T-Rudder • Tobii 5 • ISP 1 Gbps

I love FS Reborn - it reminds me of aircraft I flew in the 70s - sort of a reborn chieftain

Raoul commented on his discourse that the almost has the plane ready for 2024 - should only be a week or so after

If MSFS2020 only, then Just Flight's own aircraft and Fenix. Looking back over the years as far as FS9, it seems Just Flight and A2A I had the most of. The most flown though, are Aerosoft, Flight Sim Labs and Fenix, all A3xx series.

Kudos to those that recognise humour.

I enjoy flying any Blacksquare aircraft or mod more than the long-awaited A2A Comanche.

Also I fly Aerosoft's CRJ (with sound pack) more than PMDG's 737.

FS2020 surely has been full of surprises!!

It has been a paradigm shift.

I know I fly a lot more GA and even Bush flying than ever before…
