The OP never said they did, they talk about FSLTL in the post

"Live AI planes seems to be a mess in MSFS 2024 !?"

Yes. They did.

  • I'm not sure how OP got this interpretation from FSLTL's message. They said there was problems with FSLTL's injector in FS24. There was no reference to the functionality of the default Live AI traffic

  • Then you're whole post is just deceptive cause it makes it seems like MSFS AI traffic is a mess when realistically we don't know. We just do know that injectors don't work with it, atleast not on laun

  • And how do you know  that lol. There was nothing ready for 2020 when it launched. I was there day 1. The release will have issues, without doubt, all do!

they know people who have the dev alpha and they have tried it

Correct, however the FSLTL Devs haven't.

If I were them, I would be getting the same message out that other devs without access have.

They should be making a statement after "they" have got access and had a chance to look into it "themselves".

 But it was not live.
😏

Not completely right, PSXT gives you real time live traffic.

Yes. You did the work, they take the money.

Well life is not always about money.  See it as my contribution to the flight sim community.

Maybe use your eyes and read past the title.

Yes. That is exactly the way they want you to think. 😏

Has anyone tried using live traffic yet?

This is literally false. I'm not sure which drawer did you put that memory out of, assuming that you aren't lying through your teeth. Default AI was not perfect as it had the horrible Frankenstein planes and a relatively small percentage of flights did not appear due to the lack of data from Flightaware, but the feature as it was worked as intended out of the box.

The simple truth is that MSFS 2020 was literally the new simulator that was most polished and fully featured out of the box of the history of the genre. The only way someone may think otherwise is if they had never been there at the launch of a flight simulator before.

Like, it's not even close and I'm baffled when I see people replacing reality with some sort of dystopia that never happened.

Comments like these are not really holding up well today with how big of a disaster 2024 launch had been.

Fsltl injector is causes ctd it seems? Anyone else tested this too?

Just did two tests today: one on FSDT LSZH, works flawlessly, with AI traffic set on "medium" and what must I see: those ugly MSFS2020 A330-lookalike planes reappearing? Did they not got rid of it? I had a guess, set the AI traffic on "ultra" and fired up WSSS. And surprise, not a single one of those ugly AI planes anymore. Could it be that with lower settings, the AI traffic engine starts re-using those ugly MSFS2020 AI planes?

the "new" models are very detailed compared to the "old" once and will have a bigger impact on FPS

WSSS?

MSI Tomahawk Z790, I7-13700K, DDR5 6000mhz, MSI 4090, 3x SSD 980 PRO, Corsair 360 Liguid CPU cooler, Corsair H1200V2 power.

Loaded into VHHH this morning AI aircraft were taking off from both ends of the same runway so I checked the ATIS which stated the 07s in use with a NE wind. I would have liked to watch the traffic for a while but I had a CTD minutes later and no time to go back on. Not encouraging but it’s early days. Right now I’d like to complete a flight.
