Good question, I'm not able to go around the airplane too, but I'm on the queue so I can wait.

Missing the PMDG DC6 in MSFS 2024 (she's here, but...).

Hi, everyone,

How to skip the preview with the pilot outside the plane and go directly inside the ship as before in ms2020?

Thank you

shift+C and next load will be the cockpit?

I don't have 24, but in MSFS there is a setting in the menu or assistance settings where you can switch off the preview cinematic and start directly in the cockpit instead.

I would be very surprised if something like this didn't exist in the new version.

In the Tech Alpha there was a setting to start direct in cockpit/disable avatar mode something like that, away from home now but it should be there near the bottom in either general or accessibility options

Don't be too surprised; there are regressions -- like the GPU pegged at 99 percent when you are in the settings menu. So it might not be there; I have not found how to disable the visible co-pilot yet, which if not there is another regression in features.  Other features I have found but they have been moved around in the settings.

Is he still there if you set the passengers to 0 in the loadout?

I'm still on 2020, but I've read somewhere that there's an option where you personalize your avatar, wherever that is - Profile or similar would be my guess.

Yes, but someone did help me find where to disable the co-pilot, it is under "Customize Identity"

Do not believe that addresses the question of starting directly into the airplane (cold and dark at parking spot or gate).  You pointed out the deplorable step that many of us wish to bypass.  Have broken my nose three or four times when booted in walk around so close to the aircraft that I have to back away just to see where I am at relative to the aircraft. At least start me up several feet from the aircraft where I can see where I am at.  And provide a sim setting that allows customers to select where they start C&D.  Consider customers?   What a novel thought!

Who thought this up?  Does Asobo really believe we are flying only those default aircraft that allow entry through an open door.

Totally absent of consideration of sim customers and of third party aircraft developers working to refine their products for MSFS 2024.  Appears the focus is exclusively on default and then likely Marketplace products.  Anti-trust issues?  Shameless.

Customise Identity and pick the blank one. I couldn't handle the co-pilot's dead-man's eyes
