Anyone able to figure out how to disable the blue highlighting as you hover over cockpit controls?  Used to be an accessibility setting in FS2020 (I think), but don't see the option in 2024.

No, that's not it.

Are you sure..?

I'm not sure about anything at the moment. But changed to Legacy and no difference.

I must say I'm losing patience with this thing. The only plane I've been able to actually get into is the C152!

It'll all come good in the end but the end looks to be a loooong way away!

Settings to remove those are under General; Flight Interface; then under the Cockpit Camera section. Turn off both the tooltips options

I have these turned off and still have the blue high lights. changing Lock mode to Legacy mode in Flight Interface did the trick!

how do you get rid of the compass on the screen aswell???

It's in the Flight Interface, all the way at the bottom, External Camera, HUD in External View, choices between Full, Minimal, and Off.

Don't you just love it? The very options I used before, Legacy etc. etc. didn't work. Now they do! Oy Veh!

The trouble with turning off the blue highlights feature is that then you can't find the click spots to get rid of the chocks and other gubbins! God, I hope they do away with the nonsense and either give as a button in the EFB to remove them or, just let us start in the bloody cockpit!

Hi,

Now I'm starting on the runway. Then I stop the engine, then I press Y and transport the aircraft to the parking, and finally start from cold and dark.

But I'm feeling kind of stupid doing this.

Why isn't the roundabout revision just an option?

I want to start as always, in the cockpit on the parking.

Greetings

I'm just messing with this now as it's a complete mess, I prefer to use Legacy mode as I detest the Blue Flashing buttons and switches, but then as you say you then can't interact with anything on the Walkaround 🙄 So currently the only option is to start in Lock mode, do the walkaround and remove covers/chocks etc then enter the cokpit, then go to the menu to change back to Legacy and Fly. Only to change it all back to Lock again before the next flight, it's another unnessesary annoyance
