  • Put that word in the dictionary. I like it!

Just for info.

I am in the UK only have 24mbs internet and MSFS 2020 is working perfectly in both 4k and VR.

I was flying in FS2020 last night for around 30 minutes, and everything was fine. However, I do not use real time weather. My problem now is that my entire internet connection failed later in the evening, and so far it has not come back!!

Unlike FS9 to FSX transformation, MSFS 2020 to 2024 is not that poles apart.

Thank you MS/Asobo.  Now you have ruined 2020; which has not loaded my flights waiting for more than an hour plus on numerous occasions since the 2024 launch.  And I thought 2020 releases were problematic for bandwidth.  TOTAL INCOMPETENCE

P.S.  I am in the southeast US.

Just flown from Manchester to Dusseldorf, so a reasonably long flight, and had no problems at all with MS2020. A short flight last night on west coast of USA was also trouble free. I am in the UK and use the Northern Europe server.

Continuously lost connection KORD-EGLL It does seem bad over the US/Canada just now. Gave up in the end, Great, so now both sims are acting up.

did not purchase 2024  no problems with 2020 until just 10 minutes ago when hit msfs2020 exe ,will not run and took me to need update and is now downloading 133 gbs but all files all folders have everything still showing in them ,including community and all other folders my exe is in e drive windows apps /  "E:\WindowsApps\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_1.38.2.0_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe" . this must have been caused by microsoft. will have to wait until the entire installation manager finishes downloading to see if my 2020 will run. i have the premium deluxe 2020 version and bought it the first day it came out, and this is first time in four tears i have been forced to download the entire sim again. my system  is top of the line amd 7800x3d 4080super 64 gb ddr500 ram ,4ssd 1tb drives and my download speeds are 900 to 1200 . just have to wait but do have a fast download .microsoft needs to get their act together for sure  . was planning on getting 2024 version but if i do, it wont be until next year.  have been usuing flightsims for over 25 years and all versions including xplane . but never any problems before . have always updated hardware to what is needed in the past. simis run on 3 65 inch tvs and great frame rates . long comments but i hope microsoft somehow sees mine and others comments . thanks for hearing mt comments

Southeast U.S. here as well. My "new" bandwidth issues on 2020 actually popped up a couple of days prior to the 2024 release after three years of flawless performance. No new addons or mods...Now my 2020 is about as useless as doorknobs on a brick. Aggravating but I'll remain hopeful this will all get ironed out. If not, there's always DCS and Black Mesa 😆

Is everyone with the "low bandwidth" issue based in the UK or is this impacting other regions too? Does anyone know if MS are aware of this?

I'm in Germany

FSX says hi... ☺️

Seriously my potato is well below the minimum spec to run what looks to be a bit of a car crash. And for the price they are asking even for Standard Edition, paying customers deserve far better.

At least how to turn off this nasty messages then?

No way! Microsoft want to spoil all our fun by bothering us with completely unnecessary messages, by switching us offline completely unnecessary
