Flight Planner using coordinates?

Recommended Posts

Can anyone help me in my search for a Flight Planner (Payware/Freeware), that will be able to use Latitude/Longitude coordinates as waypoints? All planners I have seen so far use Navaids to mark a route.I want to be able to plan a route from an airport/navaid, through a latitude/longitude coordinate and back to an airport/navaid.

I've used Notepad for that in the past.Find the coordinates on a map and write out the plan in a text editor.Or use the FSX built in planner which can also do it.

Use Flightsim Commander. Just Shift-right click on any spot on the map to create a waypoint at the coordinates you want. (Coordinates displayed in the status bar.
