November 21, 20241 yr Day 1 was a mess. Day 2 fixed a lot of server issues for me. USA flyer here though. Yes there certainly are aircraft bugs some showstoppers. Overall when it starts to work, it's a better experience than 2020 was at launch. Obviously it's not as mature as 2020 was 3 days ago so it's not fair to compare to that. I'll continue using it I'm sure they'll be a SU1 sometime soon. | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |

There are some awful teething problems which should resolve with time – much like what happened with MFS20. November 21, 20241 yr I think by Xmas everyone is going to think it's the best thing since.....well msfs2020. First few days of any major platform release is always a drama with the most histrionic shouting the loudest. It has always been this way. But today I have seen and heard much more positivity and measured commentary as people take the time to work things through and not rush to get to FL350 within 5 mins of a major release. November 21, 20241 yr Yea, day one was a flop. But yesterday I was able to get in and start figuring out the UI and adjusting settings and controls. I had 3 great flights, no bandwidth issues and I have only a 50 Mb connection. The lighting was much, much better than 2020, as I think is the vegetation and while I agree it is not possible to come to conclusions yet, the flight and ground models certainly seem to have improved, and others are noting this too. So, we have to see how it plays out and what developers do, but it would be difficult to argue that it is not a significant step forward and creates a platform for MS and third parties to do a lot more. I am excited for the future. MSFS 2024. Why start another re-hashing the same griping? You don't even need to pose this as a question, just look around this forum it is littered with complaining. Time to accept what we have for now. There is other alternatives if one doesn't like MSFS 2024. 2020 had plenty of issues and they were remedied. This product will probably receive plenty of updating to correct many of its shortcomings.
