Current system: i9 13900K, RTX 4090, 64GB DDR5 4800 RAM, 4TB NVMe SSD

Thanks for posting. Kind of predictable. I am not in a hurry for PMDG products so let them take time and work it out. What I am looking forward to are the Black squares! Then my full exploration of 2024 can begin.

MSFS 2024. Primary Planes: Black Square TBM850, Duke, Baron, Caravan; A2A Comanche; FSReborn Phenom; Fexix A321; PMDG 737-7, 777: Utilities: Active Sky (Passive Mode); BATC, FSLTL.

Oh NO!!! Anyway...

back to all the aircraft that DO presently work in v2024.

Has your Aviator's edition activated? Not mine yet.

Not sure what you mean...? I've been in and flying without issue since yesterday a.m...

The only thing i noticed with the 737 was that the displays are too dim during the day. Probably something to do with changes to the render engine or even my drivers?

At night (although the simulator looks horrible at night) the displays are working perfectly.

In the Library menu, mine still shows not all aircraft are downloads, eg, Premium Deluxe to Aviator Upgrade 31/71....   so 40 items not yet available.

Have they said anything on the newest 737 update that hasn't yet been released on the marketplace for MSFS 2020 (sorry little offtopic, but don't to open a new thread for that).

If you mean the PMDG, it's not looking good at the moment. Might be weeks.

What’s a bit worrying is this paragraph:

Quote

What to Expect Next for PMDG:
We had hoped to issue updates in time for the weekend that might unblock your PMDG products from functioning within MSFS2024. At this juncture this expectation is not realistic, and we think it may be some weeks before we are able to evaluate, fix and release updates to the MSFS2020 product line that will allow them to run in MSFS2024, **if we are able to do this at all**.

I want to place emphasis on that last half of the sentence, because we are not currently able to evaluate whether platform fixes are pending that will cure these issues, or if changes will need to be made at both the platform and product level that would make compatibility between the MSFS2020 and MSFS2024 platform possible.

Not really sure how to interpret this. Seems that they encountered issues in the release version that were not there in the DevAlpha.

PMDG : "We've seen the new sim it's so brilliant we will only be releasing new products for that, no more dead sim fan service. Just give us a week to master it and we'll convert the dead sim products no probs folks!"

........

"ahhhh Cockpit to ground we won't need that pushback just yet....".

"Unfortunately all our aircraft have to be rebuilt for MSFS 2024 and sold at almost full price".

For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.

A lot of developers are having the same issue, with varying degrees of success.

The FBW team has had decent luck with the Neo working out of the box. Just flight and the RJ seem to have minor issues they want to correct.

PMDG however, are in a fun position. MS asked them to make some minor tweaks to the 737 to make it compatible. Apparently none of the legacy stuff was really active in the SDK Alpha. MS's own statements to PMDG made them think it was going to be a drag and drop. Matthijs has asked MS for feedback on what the heck happened.

It wasn't until the 19th when they were able to load in they saw how bad it is.

Even Vatsim with their vPilot client are having a heck of a time getting that to work with 24.

It's going to be a while before things we like are fully working.
