November 22, 20241 yr First flight today on 2020, FPS 10-12. I have never seen FPS lower than 35. Edited November 22, 20241 yr by Bobsk8
November 22, 20241 yr Are you really trying to say that Microsoft is pulling an Apple by degrading your 2020 performance? I'm in a 2020 flight with the latest Nvidia drivers and it's silky smooth with outstanding 100+ FPS. I've had zero issues w/ performance ever even including on release day. I'm in the air now at 70fps in the FBW320nx and it's as good as always. That would be a double failure for them if both sims tanked. I believe with technical experience it's sheer incompetence from a project design point of view. I also believe that Jorg & Co. didn't get a free hand in project visualisation, but instead Microsoft gave them guidelines they'd have to stick to if they wanted the funding. Russell Gough SE London
November 22, 20241 yr Also did KEWR-KMIA in the 777 last night and absolutely stellar performance with 100 AI aircraft around me and all of my addons running. Something is amiss on your end and you went straight for the tin foil hat... How ironic, you are normally the one to pop into everyone else's thread while they have issues to tell us how it works great for you and here you are having an issue while we are all fine... But to automatically accuse MS/Asobo of tanking your performance is just nonsense, the title of this post should be changed to something accurate and factual. November 22, 20241 yr Author Well I finally decided to pull the plug on the flight, restart PC, and see what happens.
November 22, 20241 yr Currently doing a long haul in 2020 and not noticed an issue so far. Vote to fix transparent sun visors having no effect on the sun glare effect in MSFS at: https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/sun-shades-sun-visors-not-influencing-light-in-cockpit/691565/

Same place same route can be difference night and day because of glitches/memory issues/cpu usage tanking. Had this often too. Had this often too. Never ever had this in MSFS 2020... It has been a rock solid consistent performer especially since adding lossless scaling. Please elaborate on the glitches, memory usage and CPU issues with MSFS 2020, interested to learn more.... Have a Wonderful Day -Paul Solk
November 22, 20241 yr Oh I thought you meant none of the actual gameplay screenshots used to sell the game look anything like what the game really looks like. Everything seems to have a haze no matter the weather. There is no detail to buildings, ground textures, ships, water unless you're like two ft away from them. It's just a weird misty mess. November 22, 20241 yr In the last few days, every flight (2020) start has crashed the sim to the desktop for me. However, after I restart the sim and recreate the flight the flight loads (every time on the second try) and the flights are smooth. I don't know what's going on, but I've come to expect a crash followed by a successful flight. Edited November 22, 20241 yr by RandallR Randall Rocke
