If you are on Steam, have you been able to get the plane to load?  Every time I hit fly, I get CTD.

I have no idea what I am doing wrong but I am only able to get the default cessna and occasionally the default A330-300 to load.  I can't even get the default A319 or 20s to load.

I'm on Steam and yeah it's been working fine for me currently.

In terms of the PMDG comments. You can see the devsupport thread at: https://devsupport.flightsimulator.com/t/ctd-when-launch-sim-in-debug-mode/11215 about the debugger they are wanting to use causes CTD. So thats why they are having issues currently.

Yes..except for GSX and the new Fenix..I just tried to post image but for some reason it won't post it.

GSX is causing crashing right now if you have any jetway exclusions. Make sure to disable all of them - for whatever reason disable is on the right, not the left, so double check this. Apply and try to reload, GSX should stop crashing your sim.

Just installed the Fenix A320 into MSFS 2024. Looks good and works so far.

Also Simbrief FPL Data import works as usual.

But I am struggling, with the brakes issue (no Fenix problem).

Parkling break is released, no chocks, Thrust is set, but airplane does not move.

I tried several brake key assignments, brakes are released, but not moving.

Any hints to help me ?

Can you look at my Community above...does yours look like mine for the Fenix?

Click the button that says exclude 3rd party jetways?

Removed GSX and now no crash but I just get spinning loading when hit fly.  So...something is not right.  I just don't know what the problem is.

Seems to be working well so far. However even though I downloaded some liveries with the Fenix livery manager they don't show up in the sim. They are showing up in the community folder. Anyone have success with the liveries?

I see the liveries in the airplane selection.  There are variants which have liveries and also the liveries have liveries.  Not sure why there are two categories for sometimes same liveries.   Oddly each time I load the sim there is a different livery displayed.  And the aircraft configuration does not save when you reload.  I have reloaded about 100 times in the past week so I can speak from experience..lol.

Wow, the Fenix (and GSX) are both performing very beautifully for me in 2024. I wish it was for everyone else, because it looks fabulous in the improved lighting and ray tracing conditions.

AMD Ryzen 9900X3D & ASUS X870E Gaming Plus MB, w/64 Gb GSkill DDR5 RAM, PNY RTX 5090 GPU, lots of SSD's and M.2 drives, HAVN  Case, Virpil VPC Panels 2 and 3, Virpil Constellation Alpha Stick, Virpil Rotor TCS Plus w/ Hawk-60 Collective grip, TM TCA Yoke Boeing Edition, TM HOTAS A-10 and F/A-18 Sticks and TM TPR Rudder pedals. Currently on Win11

The livery folder structure changed in 2024. In 2020, each livery had an aircraft.cfg file (along with the airplane's .cfg file). IN 2024, now there is a livery.cfg file.

So, depending on how the 2020 livery's aircraft.cfg file is, that could cause it.

I think for now I am just going to load just the livery I plan on flying.

Just confirming (I believe I read this in their Blog) but the same update can be used for MS 2020 without issue, correct?

Thanks, but even after restarting MSFS24 it still only shows the standard 3 Finixsim aircraft with Finixsim liveries. Maybe I need to remove the liveries and reinstall.

Solved the problem, the EFB was not working, thus Chocks in Fenix EFB was still active.

Where does one find the livery config file?

Someone else said that MSFS 2024 now has a working tilt function on their default WX radar (Can anyone else confirm this?). This would massively improve the usability of the default WX and should in my opinion be enough for Fenix to just use that.

I can't confirmed this.

Tried it in the A330. Tilt does nothing.
