Fenix is now compatible with MSFS 2024 (with 4x sim rate!)

Second flight with the Fenix and second time that the AP deactivates itself. No chance to activate it again.

I'am also affected by the sluggish EFB.

  • Also, I like how on one hand, you have PMDG blaming Asobo (as usual) for everything and throwing a tantrum because they can't release for 2024. Then yet again Fenix just 1-ups them immediately and rel

Yes it does. Works in the A330s.

No it does not. You are imagining things.

( I hope the video starts at the time code I linked to. Emi demonstrates that tilt does nothing. Just like I already said a few days ago)

Unfortunately the Fenix is unusable for me in 2024 at the moment. Even at a rural remote default airport it uses an insane amount of VRAM and my FPS is halved from what I had with MSFS 2020 on any payware scenery (e.g. 2020: 40 FPS, 2024: 20 FPS). I don't understand why - I was using DX12 already on 2020 so there shouldn't be such a huge difference. Also no idea why others seem not affected at all. Anyone got any idea?

Possibly a memory leak somewhere?

If you are on a 3XXX series card from nvidia, there is an FS2024 bug that can tick on frame gen - this will absolutely nuke your performance. Seen some people report this.

be sure to assign the "axis" (on the left) and not the "button" when you move the levers.

Many thanks. That did the trick.

Everyone is quick to praise, However, it's buggy.

They warned of that, so it's your choice, Personally i have flown it 3 times of about 2hr duration. only issue i have found in all that time was the EFB sluggish, and flickering at times. if that's too much for you, leave well alone until such time.

Thanks for responding, Aamir. No it‘s a 4070ti. I have however found out in the meantime that disabling Ractraced Shadows almost doubles my FPS in the Fenix in 2024. With this setting of it‘s closer to the MSFS 2020 performance level (and flyable again) and I think the rest will come when the Fenix is out of the experimental state with some 2024-specific performance improvements and when Asobo (finally) starts on focusing on performance (mostly VRAM usage).

For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.

After the last update who bring fenix to ms24, i had some lost control Yesterday during approach, and finally leave my flight because speed and alt were too low to go to runway, i remember have had this problem long time ago, on fenix fb page and discord some people encounter this problem too, and you?

After this flight i return to fenix installer and had a micro update, i don't know what is the purpose but i lost all my liveries installed from livery manager.

I use ms20.

Thanks

Dear All, i have tried now many hints here what where postet to calibrate the the TCM throttle to the Fenix A320 in MSFS2024.

At the calibration in the FCU it stucks all the way at 48%. Have a look at the pic! I don't get them to zero to get the reverser working.

I have no idea anymore.

spacer.pngMaybe someone has an idea.

Thank you all

What do you have your throttle 1 & 2 axis set as?

Dear Mike, as here in the forum was said.

Have look.

Thank you for your time.

Mike,

I had the same problem you reported and what Thomas referenced above solved the issue for me.  You can then calibrate the throttles as usual, if needed
