The A321 LR is another Wonderful default aircraft!!!

Featured Replies

A short circuit last night, under Bert's influence, around EIDW, also proved how good this ** default ** aircraft actually is !

Same with 3 of the helicopters that come **for free** with Standard Edition!

I'm a more than HAPPY FS 2024 user already 😍

Do any of the 321LR or A330 support time acceleration/autocruise? The ini A320NEO in '20 seemed to struggle a lot in that department...

Tcas does not show AI and terrain radar is botched. Msfs24 fault not Ini is my guess.

The level of detail we get from some of the default aircraft is unbelievable. I was flying the A330 yesterday. It has absolute payware quality. It looks great, flies great, has good sounds and great systems. A big compliment to Inibuilds and the Flightsim Team. Just remember how awful default planes where in FSX times 😄 .

Nobody mentions TCAS? And Terrain Radar?? How come?

Other thing I saw in MSfs 2024 is the loss of connection with airplanes entirely. Everything freezed but model flew on. Control inputs did not work like somehow streaming was cut off from their servers.

This is what bothers me about the streaming model.  If your textures fail to load at any given time, what is there to prevent critical system code from loading as well.

My Internet at home is nothing to write home about - 200 / 20 Mbps, and yet, after the initial quirks with the FS 2024 install (took me 3 days to be able to use the sim), I can't really complain.

Yes it takes a while to load, but after I start playing it, change flights - I have only been able to test Free Flight mode - and explore the new highly detailed scenery, I can't complain about instability and / or smoothness - just as FS 2020, FS 2024 is a King of Scenery Detail & Smoothness + Overall Aircraft Graphics + Better than anything I tried after the default aircraft in DCS World regarding default airplanes.

Even the amount of data I monitor in my Internet link appears perfectly acceptable.

I am more & more convinced of the success of FS 2024 as a new paradigm for flight simulation, and although I accept that storing some more data locally could have some advantages, I am actually in favour of encrypted **only** data! Sorry guys, but I prefer to have no control over the configuration files and leave that to the developers **only**...

I spent years editing FLIGHT_MODEL.CFG stuff, and I am tired of that, plus most of the time it messes around with other stuff and the end result is more negative thna positive 😕

Nope, none of the inibuilds planes support sim rate.

For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.

I find that in a straight line it will do 4x no problem but turns you need to slow it down.

Fuel burn always stays at normal rate so what I do is before take off I note EFOB and then at top of decent change the fuel to 1 tonne above this for the decent and approach.

Not perfect but it is a work around.

That’s smart. I’m gonna try that in their 330 and the A300. I’ve got 3 kids n I cannot sit at the PC for several hours

Thanks for the answers. That's a shame - I don't have time to do 8-10 hours in real time, so that's a no go for me right now. Hopefully their A350s and A380s will have that feature - PMDG and Fenix now have it running well.

They’re considering it iirc

Inibuilds has a custom terrain radar that’s broken. Aircraft that use the default Asobo one work fine

I believe TCAS is broken in all aircraft

What about the sim rate app we had for MSFS2020 avail on flightsim.to?
