November 25, 20241 yr MSFS 2024 is becoming more stable each day. I am still seeing some streaming issues on some flights, but overall it is a joy to use. The increased terrain resolution is perhaps the biggest upgrade from 2020. any land area big enough could be landed on, but 2024 has changed that. I picked a random river in New Zealand to show the increased resolution which demonstrates you can't land anywhere 😁 The new trees, seasons, cliff faces, rocks etc are also great updates. * I had an addon running that caused some stutters, but without that running the sim is smooth. November 25, 20241 yr That looks exceptional if you ask me. Are those default FALL trees in FS 2024, or from one of the addons? AMD 5800x | Nvidia 3080 (12gb) | 64gb ram

November 25, 20241 yr I’ve been doing some illegal flying hopping over hedges and scooting low over corn fields , the sense of speed low level in VR is just fantastic. 787 captain. Previously 24 years on 747-400.Technical advisor on PMDG 747 legacy versions QOTS 1 , FS9 and Aerowinx PS1.

November 25, 20241 yr Looks really nice. Still some LOD popping though. Do the size of the tires matter? If your aircraft has Alaska Bush tires it should handle rough surface better. I think the seasonal biomes have some issues or inconsistencies in how they are applied. I did a flight yesterday from KELM to KDTW. It’s a 300 mile flight almost due west - as the two airports are almost the same latitude. The hillsides in KELM were indeed covered with late fall/early winter trees. When I arrived at Detroit, the trees were all green. It was overcast the whole way so I did not see when or where there was a change in vegetation enroute.
