Trouble installing SP2

First time FSX SP1/SP2 installed perfectly but since a Vista 64-Bit format/reinstall I can't install SP2. I read in the SP2 install notes that you should turn off AV programs before install but still won't install. Everything FSX, including the tool section menu (SDK) is working great and even Vista SP1 update has settled in but FSX SP2 won't install, with a message, 'setup ended before completing install'.System-E6850: P5N32-E SLI Plus: EVGA 8800 GTS 640MB KO ACS3:4Gb Corsair TwinX PC6400:WD Raptors:Toughpower 850W PSU:Vista HP 64-BIT SP1:Any help appreciated pleaseRay
