Route not automatically set up in A320 in FS2024 anymore?

Featured Replies

Hi All,

Anyone know how to get the flight plan to be all setup automatically like you could do in FS2020? For example, in FS2020, I would select my departure and approach, runway etc. Load up, and as soon as I take off, all I had to do was toggle auto pilot, and right click the altitude to set it to managed, then the plane followed the flight plan, as well as manage speed after setting throttle to CLB. That doesnt seem to work anymore in 2024. I am not one that wants to mess around with inputting stuff into the FMC, so the way 2020 worked was great for me. Anyone know if this is a setting, or is 2024 more like x-plane now where you have to enter all this stuff before playing?

You were probably using the default non "version 2" A320.  The one in 2024 is the "version 2" one that was in 2020 from Inibuilds for free with one of the sim updates.

Hang on.........I'd like an answer to this as well.

Can't get it to work either (but works in the Boeing 737) in the A320/A321.
After some search i did read somewhere that it doesn't work for any of the iniBuilds aircraft. A320/A321 are iniBuilds...

I had this issue.

It doesn't automatically pull through to the FMC in 2024 - you have to manually set up the aircraft/FMC, after pre-planning your route.

I used this video and found it really useful - I hope you do too.
