So I am happy with 2020 for now until they have a few patches. Without custom scenery in MSFS 2020, you can't get the photos that @turbomax posted at the start of this thread. You also can't get photos like this in MSFS 2020 without custom scenery: https://old.reddit.com/r/MicrosoftFlightSim/comments/1h3igen/places_ive_been_over_the_years_revisited_in/ Yes, with custom scenery in MSFS 2020, you can get comparable graphics at the ground level as MSFS 2024. But the point of MSFS 2024 is that the graphics at ground level is like this across the entire world, no custom scenery needed. i5-12400, RTX 3060 Ti, 32 GB RAM

December 1, 20241 yr I was flying around Salt Lake City last night in VR and it was stunning … leaps and bounds better than FS2020… BIGTIME….. what a mega mega experience… it is a fantastic simulator… no doubt about it. Edited December 1, 20241 yr by Captaintull Regards Paul EGCC
December 1, 20241 yr 2020 works well, with no bugs, CTDs, cruddy looking scenery, and a horrible UI, and all my aircraft work.

My issue is stutters near and at airports...they begin on a 1-2 mile final and stay consistent. Still trying to work on my graphics settings but I currently have them slightly lower than my 2020 settings... I don't have a problem because the product hasn't been out long. We have two bug fixes coming this and next week. Personally I can't unsee the great improvements in 2024, so am willing to concentrate on those and not the initial teething problems.
