Shure MSFS2024 will be the winner, that is logical, but not yet, there is still a long way to go, and to say for my kind of flying MSFS2020 is Top Forefront because everything is ready, i jump in my airliner and fly my Route witout any issues - can you do that with MSFS2024, i think not.. And that's the most important thing for me at the moment, namely that the Simulator really works and MSFS2020 does that, but MSFS2024 doesn't. I'll see you guys maybe in half a year or even a year, so have fun with MSFS2024 ! 🥳 cheers 😊 Well, sure you can hop on an airliner and fly a route in v2024, whatever made you think otherwise? And as of last week, the Fenix Airbus is flying in v2024, as well! And of course we know there are many problems with the sim, as any rational person expected, but this "conventional wisdom" growing around that the sim isn't usable for "serious flights" is simply incorrect. Now, perhaps you're a PMDG aviator, well, sure, that's a blocking issue. bUT it's a blocking issue caused by the addon, NOT the sim. So, tho v2024 may not work for YOU, it certainly works for many. Hope the issues blocking you are cleared up soon, so you can come join the fun! 🤙

I personally wouldn't go back to XPlane12 now that 2024 has been released, but the option is available. I realize that, but these apps are expensive and cover only a fraction of the earth's land surface. XP itself remains stuck on artificial scenery and seems destined to remain so. I see this as increasingly non-competitive with MSFS2020/2024 as time goes on. Edited December 1, 20241 yr by cobalt

There are some in XP that are well above their counterparts in MSFS. Until that changes, XP will be in the rotation. Same/Same for P3D. Well, until A2A and Majestic bring their addons over. And whenever MilViz figures out whatever the heck is going on with their 2 x T-38s (which are running in MSFS, but "can't" be released... 🤔 Edited December 1, 20241 yr by UrgentSiesta
