I exited 28C onto P1, then planned on taxiing DD, B, V, V4 to gate M21 (which doesn't exist). I can tell you, it's like a totally different airport.

No, it's not, you just crossed into the outdated area, where B used to come from the inner apron, but now it's uninterrupted and parallel to the runway 10L/28R so no, it's not a "totally" different airport, it just have a few outdated parts, and it's the one I highlighted that has been undergoing most of changes in the past months.

Taxiways are constantly being changed and renamed

I'll have to ask my partner Alessandro ( KORD author ) for a link to that website I couldn't find right now, which is a sort of "ground handling notams", and it looked more like a chat than a set of notams, there were occasions where taxiways were renamed and rerouted week after week.

The controllers even have trouble keeping up with it at times!

ORD is a mess but I love it! Taxiing around there is great for the paycheck for sure! 😂
