I don't know, but it's a little hard to believe that a low-percent commission on a $20 addon plane is going to move the needle enough when they're undoubtedly paying jaw-dropping electricity bills alone to keep the sim running. Don't think anyone knows for sure. The risk will be greatest if Microsoft only had a streaming business model. There's risk but there are also rewards. eg. Steam and Netflix. Hardware: i7-8700k, GTX 1070-ti, 32GB ram, NVMe/SSD drives with lots of free space. Software: latest Windows 10 Pro, P3Dv4.5+, FSX Steam, and lots of addons (100+ mostly Orbx stuff).
