Last update has broken the Cessna 172 cargo edition in VR

Featured Replies

It would be great if someone can verify that the Cessna 172 cargo variant no longer works correctly in VR.

When I start a flight, I can perform the preflight steps such as chocks etc normally (around 50fps), but as soon as I enter the cockpit, I get 2 fps.

Other planes work fine.

Thanks

Update: The low fps also occurs in normal mode, not just VR.

Update Update: All working normally now.

I'm fine with G1000 C172, but still no sound in the basic C172, frustrating.

Also I just found out that the flight model of C172 in 2024 under windy condition is terrible. Especially the reaction to crosswind is way over exaggerated, totally unrealistic.

Happening same to me with the 172. I start the flight with 30 or more, after a minute or so i go down to 10fps.

My original problem was a little different, as soon as the flight started I was at 1 to 2 fps. It would never recover.

It sounds like you have the VRAM bug that many people are having, Asobo said they are looking for a fix for it.

Hopefully it gets better soon.

Did you try to do a reset of the sim so it will download all new files?
