Fule Transfer Lear 45

Recommended Posts

Guest Easy Xjer

I just started flying the Bombardier Lear 45 in FSX. The plane is using fuel from the right tank only. I have plenty in the front and left tank but cant get it to transfer over. I tried turning on the left and right pumps as well as the crossflow pump but it keeps pulling out of the right tank. How is this done? Thanks

Before switching to the Lear, load a plane with a fuel selector such as the Maule. Set it to both, then switch to the Lear.Hope this helps...Donald T:-waveFLYing? It's cool. Trillions of birds and insects can't be wrong.

Yup that did the trick. One more question, how do I get the reversers to engage without having to bring up the throttle window and use the mouse? I have been through the engine key commands but cant find one for reversers. Thanks Dan

I've not really tested this in FSX but I didnote that there is no "reverse thrust" entry in the controlsmenu.... Paul

And this was supposed to better. How could they not put in a command for reversers?

>And this was supposed to better. How could they not put in a>command for reversers? They did. It's called the F2 key. Press and HOLD for reverse thrust. Press F1 to return to idle thrust.

You can also assign the reversers (F2 key) to a controller button, then move the thrust levers to idle to disengage, thus no use of the keyboard whatsoever. You can also make their deployment incremental by using the slider in the FSX controller properties.Regards, Kendall#1: E6750@3.2GHZ/Coolermaster HyperTX2 Gigabyte P35-DS3L 4GB Ballistix Tracers PC6400 EVGA 8800GT - 169.28's Seagate 250GB 7200.11 CH Yoke/Pedals/Saitek Throttle Dual Monitor: Dell 2405/1905 #2: Dell 8400 3.2 H.T. 3GB PC4200 - X800XT Diamond Xtreme/Logitech X-530's
