yea i get  that  but  i was referring  to de icing  procedures  and  you get  to see  the  icing  on  the  wings  on  the  fslabs which will effect  the flight  characteristics

The Fenix also does the same. If you are referring to the animated deicing thing, sure, that’s not there. But in flight it behaves the same way if it’s iced up.

Didn’t fenix recommend to turn off icing in sim as it’s not compatible with the addon??

Fenix is priced in Pounds.

It's roughly $65 US.

FSL is Just about $5 US higher.

I think that issue was fixed about a year ago. I have been flying with icing simulation on since then without issue.

I never saw visual ice accumulation anywhere (ice stick, windshields/windows, fuselage, over wings, leading edge) in the Fenix when flying into icing conditions... in the FSLabs you have all these visual cues to "warn you" of possible 'danger' and the dynamic effects that come with it.

I never had to de-ice the Fenix. I never had to anti-ice it either. I can fly confidently in the Fenix in any kinda potential ice hazardous condition without even setting the AI on because and nothing will happen (correct me if I'm wrong of course), which isn't the case in the FSLabs... The experience is completely different in the FSlabs...

The Fenix simulates icing, it just doesn't have a visual representation of it. You need to turn on Anti Ice to match the conditions. You even get an ECAM warning if you switch off Anti Ice during icing conditions. The bug that was referenced earlier was that Anti Ice didn't have any effect so you lost airspeed during icing conditions even with Probe Heat on, hence the recommendation to turn it off. So no, it doesn't just let you fly in hazardous conditions without simulating the icing impact but yes, it doesn't visually show it. Whether that's worth $70+ to you - only you can decide.
