The knob in the left panel of the Extra 330LT does nothing. I can't input a GPS waypoint, barometric pressure, heading, course, etc. I see no obvious other way set these. Why???

 

 

That's the really old portrait g3x - it's basically worthless.  Would have been nice if they put the smaller G3X in it.

Is it broken in MSFS 2024? I refuse to fly a plane that I can't set the altimeter and GPS, LOL

You could probably press B for altimeter (or what the binding is for that now) or try setting it on the analog altimeter to the right

Yes, that's now the comma key to set Altimeters. But still can't set any other fields on Garmin. Is it just me or is this problem universal? Haven't found anything else online about this

For what it is worth, I had similar problems with the TBM (autopilot malfunctions). I solved them by 'rebooting' the plane - choosing to load another plane type and then reverting to the TBM. After that it worked fine.
