December 23, 20241 yr Hi how to scale HP Reverb G2 world proportions? In a businessjet I have the impression to be in a little Piper or with Alien Isolation to bang my head on the door frames. Thanks
December 25, 20241 yr Not sure about the G2 in particular, but globally this is all linked to the IPD (distance between your right and left eye/pupils). On my headset for example, I have a physical IPD setting, the lenses are physically moving sideways to match the desired IPD setting. However, this setting is not taken into consideration in the games. So if I set my IPD correctly in my headset (63 mm for me), but the postions in-game of the cameras for left and right eye doesn't match, then I won't see the world with a correct scaling. I have to find a way to adjust the ingame IPD to match the physical IPD. In MSFS, one way to do that is to use the OpenXR toolkit freeware utility. It has an option to set the ingame IPD in milimeters. If you manage to set both your headset and the ingame IPDs to the correct value, then you should see everything in the correct proportions in the sim.

Just got back in to VR after I upgraded my card from GTS 1660 to an RTX 3060ti and have the same issue as OP. (although I'm running a Quest2). Loaded up Open XR but see it's no longer supported. Hoping to find some other solution here because I feel like a giant in the 172. Kinda cool that when I stand up I literally poke my head above the aircraft and get the breeze in my face, but not very realistic... 😉
