I see you have a 4**** series RTX card.  If not already doing so, you will benefit with use of the AutoFPS app.  It is by far and away the second best addon for MSFS, 2020 and 2024.  If used with Frame Generation it creates a new sim performance wise.

I am hoping that the majority of addons we have can be ported over to MSFSS2024 from the same common folders in Addons Linker without having to create duplicate folders for use in MSFS2024.

That is exactly what I am doing. Mostly successful.  All but one addon scenery I have used is working just fine.  And that airport is much improved in default 2024.  Addon aircraft models are a different story.  The FlightFX Hjet is one that I have working well.  Only issue is the fuel burn is higher in 2024, requiring the addition of more fuel mid-flight.  Some other addon aircraft performance mods are still problematic.

 

I'm using 2024 exclusively, except for:

1) Tubeliners

2) GA

3) Military

4) 3rd party add-on aircraft

5) IFR

6) VFR

7) VR

In these rare instances, I find 2020 more practical. 😉

Does the AutoFPS app also work with 3 series RTX cards?  I have a 3080ti but have never used this app previously.

Very true. Thanks to Bert and Piett I remodeled my patience and tried it all again. 2024 kept deleting my controller settings, TDS wouldn't work or sometimes it would, etc  but now I have autofps working again its even more amazing. 

Gonna practice with the BS Bonanza for a bit then move up to the BS King Air. Thankfully the Avro RJ works. PADU (Dutch Harbor from ORBX) also works!

It works with any system. Game changer. Adjust TLOD, OLOD and other settings based off of your altitude and/or FPS changes. Keeps sim looking good while keeping your performance even better.

I would certainly hope not. If there are legitimate gripes or reasons to be frustrated, then there's a lot on the the same side.

Yesterday, I finally got stuff working. Reinstalled, updated again. BS Bonanza and TDS working just fine. PAJN, PADU and a bunch of my favorites sceneries (out of nearly 200) are working!

Flew to KLAS and noticed the scenery there is rather fancy on the stip.
