December 28, 20241 yr I know how to uninstall the sim but when I reinstall it, all the settings are still there and I'd like to be able to reinstall it as if it's never been on the computer. My Honeywell bindings are a mess and my graphics are not setup right. I remember during the original install the graphics setting were suggested by the Sim. I'd like to have that again.
December 28, 20241 yr Remember a lot of your settings are stored in the cloud but aside from that, in order to delete every last shred of data from your PC, you need to use the run app and enter %appdata% you'll see the MSFS 2024 folder. This is where the community folder will be stored. In terms of key bindings, using search by input/function makes things really easy. 5800X3D. 32 GB RAM. 1TB SATA SSD. 3TB HDD. RX 9070XT.

Perhaps create a new profile (copy the default profile) for every piece of hardware control, then delete all the bindings manually? 7950X3D | RTX 4090 | 64GB DDR5
December 28, 20241 yr To delete your cloud data in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, access your Microsoft account settings through the Xbox app, navigate to "Manage games," select "Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024," and then choose the option to delete your cloud save data; this will permanently erase your progress, logbook, and custom settings associated with your profile. December 28, 20241 yr Author So this is the issue. I think I messed up the default honeycomb profiles. Is there a way to reset them?

December 29, 20241 yr I use Iobit Powerful Uninstaller (freeware). It removes every single trace. Including stuff in the registry that all other forms on uninstalling leaves behind. I have used this utility for about 10 or 12 years. It takes out 100%. But if instead, you go to control panel, programs and features, and uninstall it there using windows, it will not remove every trace (it will leave stuff in the registry). The freeware version is the only version I have used, not the payware version. https://www.iobit.com/en/advanceduninstaller.php 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. (For Steam users, this step might not be necessary, but again, I can’t confirm.) Follow these steps to enable offline mode: Open the Microsoft Store and click your profile image. Go to Settings and turn Offline Permissions to ON. Launch the game once to ensure it’s set up to run offline. Step 2: Disconnect and Remove Cloud Data Disconnect your PC from the internet. Locate and delete the cloud save files. For MS Store users, these files are typically located in: C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.Limitless_8wekyb3d8bbwe\SystemAppData\wgs For Steam users, the folder (if it exists) should be in a similar location under: C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024\ and possibly \SystemAppData\wgs (If someone with the Steam version can confirm this, it would be appreciated!) Delete all the contents in the respective folder. Step 3: Reconnect and Launch the Game Launch the game while still offline. It should prompt you that an internet connection is required. At this point, reconnect your internet. The game should now restart and take you back to the initial setup screen. June 17, 2025Jun 17 I am aware that this is an old thread, but I am currently having the problem, that I have no way to launch MSFS 2024 any more. This happened after a Windows recovery to a state some days earlier. Whenever I try to launch the sim I get the message: The game has crashed: Error code: (0xe06d7363) Unfortunately, neither the tips given above to completely remove the sim nor anything else (like cleaning the registry before reinstallation) solved my problem. Whatever I do I always face the same dreadful message. Maybe anybody had the same problem and possibly a solution? Given that this started after a Windows recovery, it’s likely something that is messed up deeper in the system. You may have to do a full windows reinstall and start from scratch that way. 9800X3d, 4090, 64 GB DDR5 6000 RAM, 4 TB NVME (2x2), 4K Ultra + Framegen

For me it rather looks like a sim-specific problem. True, but given that this started just after a Windows restore, what I'm saying is that the normal fixes may not work because some random MSFS2024 file somewhere may have gotten deleted or modified, and tracking that down will be hard. You've already tried the usual set of fixes and are getting no result, right? So you may need to look at a reinstall. And if you have already tried reinstalling MSFS 2024 and it's still broken.. well, either keep trying fixes and hopefully it works, or else after a few days bite the bullet and reinstall. I hope you get it fixed soon! Edited June 17, 2025Jun 17 by JonathanC 9800X3d, 4090, 64 GB DDR5 6000 RAM, 4 TB NVME (2x2), 4K Ultra + Framegen
