MSFS 2024, flying off California coast line, it's amazing!

Featured Replies

This person wasn't using any custom scenery (their comment is "yes to afraid to add anything to it until its more stable" when asked if it's stock scenery), they were just using the default MSFS 2024 scenery, and the person said they were flying off the California coast line:

But that is one of the more impressive videos I have seen of MSFS 2024's capabilities.  And for the MSFS 2020 crowd who claim the graphics of MSFS 2020 and MSFS 2024 are the same, this video is another example of the huge differences between MSFS 2020 and MSFS 2024. Without custom scenery, what you see in that video is not possible in MSFS 2020.

It looks great, but a lot of stuttering as well.

Can be video capturing. I had that too with my video's.
When Jörg was asked about the ground detail about a... year(?) ago, he answered "Forza Horizon quality". It seems that is the case with the new ground scenery. I cannot judge by myself since I am in a big flightsim dip and have not touched the controls for almost a year now.

The only screenshot forum I know that shows the quality of the new sim is SOH. I do not watch many other screenshot forums by the way, so if people have suggestions please let me know. 🙂

Are you referring to micro stutters? I honestly don't see that much stuttering in the video. There are some micro stutters in a few spots, but overall, I think it's fine.

I enjoy flying up the California coast quite a bit, taking off from San Luis Obispo. It was great in 2020 but is breath-taking now. And stutter free!

And why does it matter at the moment? 2020 is still a viable platform and so as legacy sims. Don't believe all the hype'

It's probably the browser you are using or the device you are using. Click on the Reddit link to go to the actual Reddit post if you don't see the video. If you are on Firefox or Chrome on PC, you should be able to see the video.  If you try to view the video from Avsim, it may not work properly.
