Geof A...... I have a question

Recommended Posts

Thanks for pointing out the Blue Sky scenery of the Creede and Durango areas. I didn't think anyone on this board even knew of Creede, CO, let alone create scenery of it. I have a cabin about 15 miles SW of Creede and am very familiar with the area. The scenery looks great, but all of the airport buildings have disappeared. Do you have that problem or do I have it improperly installed.Sorry to have to ask you, but there doesn't seem to be a way to contact the authors on their website. Thanks for your help

Lucky you on the cabin! Looks like beautiful country...I just tried Creede and seem to have some buildings at the end of 25 that keep popping on and off-maybe a flatten issue? It also appears that there is a ghost 7/25 next to the fs one...Gottfried's email is on his Bluesky site-perhaps shoot him an email?http://www.blueskyscenery.com/index.htmlhttp://www.mediafire.com/imgbnc.php/1b5baf...b9f427f694g.jpgMy blog:http://geofageofa.spaces.live.com/

Thanks GeofI thought I had possibly installed it incorrectly. I'll try the email and see if I can get it sorted out. I don't have any buildings at Creede, Durango or Teluride.John Wayne used to have a large ranch south of Creede and the guys at the airstrip used to talk about how his pilot would bring him to Creede in his Learjet. I never did see the plane at the field so I can't say it definitely happened. The guy had to be pretty good to pull it off. I had some anxious moments just trying to land a Cessna 337.Thanks for your help.

Hi,My sceneries are photo-sceneries. So they kill any default-autogen. Unfortunately, keeping the default-autogen is not provided as an option by FS. But I think, the default-autogen wouldn't fit the photos anyways. And having no autogen is good on the frame-rate :-). The only option would be to deliver my own autogen. Which, I'm sorry, would be way too much work for the huge areas covered. But the scenery will not kill any airport-buildings that are not autogen (hangars, towers etc). If they disappeared it might be your scenery-densitiy settings.

Thanks GottfriedI think my density setting are full right, but I'll have to check on it this weekend. I'm really looking forward to exploring your scenery this weekend. I lived about 40 miles east of Creede for 35 years and as I mentioned earlier, still have a cabin on a lake about 15 miles from Creede. I've explored most of that area at one time or another and one of my favorite flights is from Creede to Teluride, both in real life and flight simming. Thanks for creating this scenery and I look forward to more of your work. I'll be sending a donation this weekend to support your efforts. Thanks again.

>Hi Gottfried->In this case at this airport it does appear to be the airport>buildings that are not autogen. On my rig they "pop" on and>off-no pattern that I could detect.>Hmmm... I have no idea what that could be, because photo-scenery usually doesn't interfere with custom buildings. Does it only happen when you use my scenery or also without it?

I just tried it with your scenery disabled and then enabled. The buildings do cut out though they pop in every once in a while-more often than not. http://www.mediafire.com/imgbnc.php/1b5baf...b9f427f694g.jpgMy blog:http://geofageofa.spaces.live.com/http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/187345.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/187346.jpg
