January 11, 20251 yr Might have something to do with the CA wildfires (maybe servers or routing affected) or the Extreme Cold in other areas. Until they say what the problem is, we don't know and making assumptions that it's nefarious gets us nowhere. James

January 11, 20251 yr Well, it's good that this happened on the weekend when nobody wanted to fly.☹️ I just tried to start Msfs 2020, and this time it gave me that screen that you get when there is an update, and then I could not exit, or quit MSFS at all. January 11, 20251 yr I could get 2020 to start by disabling my network adapter so that it skips the checking for updates part, then re-enabled it again when the sim loaded. It worked, but going back to the main menu froze everything. MS and a bozo at it again.
