Anyone who has followed my comments re DLSS FG know I really don't like the visual aberrations it brings but now I'm pretty much stuck with using it and that is 100% BATC's impact. I find the real impact in terms of maintaining frame rate is right around 20% or a little more. I have to assume you're not running everything else as I am as I have a similarly capable machine. Of course this is a tacit indication of just how good BATC is to use it's really a piece of art. I hope they can improve on performance as they continue development. Have you tried the possibility BATC gives you to force BATC to use dx11d3d instead of dx12? Its a bat file to just quickly test within the batc community folder WHILE BATC AND THE SIM IS RUNNING and you can even force the app always start at dx11 (regardless your sim at dx12 and FG). I did force it to dx11d3d and I gained immediate about 8 fps (FG off). At OMDB my fps went from 43 to 51 (high msfs settings and VR as well). I'm the online support center there is a explanation for how to use and setup. Its really easy! Edited January 22, 20251 yr by mpo910 Regards, Marcus P.

Great suggestion and I thought about it since I run MSFS 2020 in DX12 but hadn't tried it and most certainly will thanks. Actually right now frame rate performance is a non issue because of now using FG. My only complaint is stuttering AI traffic animation as I'm used to really smooth using just FSLTL. I would like to try FSHud w/ FSLTL injector and may end up buying it. I wish it offered a free trial. Actually right now frame rate performance is a non issue because of now using FG. My initial assessments were skewed by some atypical situations and the last several the impact during runtime is around 12% tops and so there is no problem maintaining 30fps x 2FG = 60fps everywhere in any plane and it's typically up much higher from there. My only complaint is stuttering AI traffic animation as I'm used to really smooth using just FSLTL. If you don't try what others are telling you then I guess you'll have the same results everytime you start BATC, but it's your choice.... The AI stuttering will go way if you're able to match FPS. Do this, cap the sim fps at some value your PC can achieve constantly(use one of those values 120/90/45/36/30), then match that fps within BATC, I bet you'll get smooth animation.... I had that stuttering problem because I was running at 36FPS and BATC only had 30/60, then when they added more options I chose 36fps to match my headset, guess what? Smooth animations...
