You seem to be "a character" based on a quick review of your history, so I'll simply state that seeking a response from a dev who has 1) been subject to unprofessional commentary from an entity in business to sell their product, and 2) has been quiet since release in general so we're not even sure they're aware of issues, is a worthy pursuit in the interest of transparency and assuaging concerns from the established, curmudgeonly, self-declared voices of authority here who advocate for developers to "die on the vine" if they aren't of of the PMDG, Fenix, etc ilk. Most developers are forthcoming in providing updates, so here's hoping they do. (They already provided a brief statement that I edited above). We're all excited for the release of a solid vintage DC-9 aircraft. Edited January 24, 20251 yr by STK

Most people here have on opinion on this DC9 based on Sky Sim's previous release: their MD11 is nowhere near being "study level" Yes we are all hoping for a solid DC9 but this won't be it sadly, let's be realistic

Just to clarify - Just Flight is not the publisher of this title - in this case simply a vendor like Simmarket or Microsoft. When asked why it was taken off sale, Just Flight has replied candidly and that reply doesn't seem to be out of step with most of the online discussion about what, compared to many other titles, is an expensive product.

Just Flight doesn't owe you a thing. Quit beating a dead horse. If you seek further gratification please do so by using the proper channels and contact Just Flight directly via their Contact page. Is it done yet? When will it be released? Will it be freeware or payware? How much will it cost? Any updates on the progress? Will it work for Xbox? Can I be a beta tester? How's the performance in VR?

Ultimately if I buy an appliance at your store and it doesn't work, I'm taking it back to your store and the commercial dispute is between us - not the manufacturer. Obviously it's not a sustainable business model to sell expensive products that the majority of people are trying to return or are complaining about - tanks your brand, even if you didn't develop the aircraft. I can understand wanting distance from this one, it's not good. Ultimately - this dev has been warming over this product for about 15 years, and it shows. Fundamentally, this is still the same aircraft I had in FSX - it's unfortunate some people didn't realize this. Gotta do your due diligence these days before purchasing. January 26, 20251 yr Apparently there's an update coming soon. As an owner of this plane now it's great to see but christ man. Still a mess. Some of it does look like user error, but still lots of pretty dire issues especially with the autopilot. Thing is, I wouldn't have minded if it was labelled as early access. It's just too expensive an add-on for the state that it's in.
January 31, 20251 yr FYI................... If you contact [email protected] they can provide you with a link for the second beta update which will address the issues with the autopilot, APU etc.... I have now done several test flights and it appears most items are fixed
January 31, 20251 yr Peter Mathess's latest video seems to indicate some major improvements, which is great news.
April 3, 20251 yr A very significant update has been released for this at last. I'd really love to know if this is worth getting now, would love to recreate some flights from my childhood.

April 3, 20251 yr First video review here: To be honest I think I'm going to take a punt and pick it up. It looks like its in a pretty reasonable state now, miles ahead of where it was at release, certainly looks very flyable and can be operated by the book.
April 4, 20251 yr It willm be interesting to see an updated reveiw by a real pilot. The initial real pilot review was not too good.
