¡Ah, claro!

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

To those of you enjoying the visual uplift SU1 is providing, do not be discouraged by the naysayers claiming a placebo effect. We have side-by-side photos providing irrefutable proof of what you're seeing. Avsimmers aren't the only ones noticing the changes either, with plenty of posts on Facebook pointing them out.

It's just the usual haters spreading their usual hate.

In my own testing, I've found that the sim maintains ground scenery detail at extremely high altitudes (drone camera) and that makes me very happy. I just hope this will continue to be the case when everyone has to update upon full release.

Away from computer at the moment, but I feel like MSFS24 has been quite nice visually from the start.

This is my video from a couple of weeks ago landing into WFSS addon ZSSS Shanghai Hongqiao at night, the night scenery was already really nice I feel, especially with the glow of the city.

Positives:  Looks good, seems Incredibly smooth!

Negatives:  How can you not see the scenery and buildings loading tile by tile and sometimes one at a time?  Do you have the Auto thing turned on?  What are your LOD settings?  That can't be right...

Have a Wonderful Day

I just flew over New Hampshire at FL 260 with the Vision Jet. Every single tree and very sharp textures visible to the horizon - well, then I had to set TLOD back to 100 on my meager 2080s but it still looked fantastic!

have you tried it at all? Don’t go by videos.

Believe me or not, doesn’t matter to me - but I’ve seen you post here many times and you don’t come across as one of the extreme guys who only hate on stuff - and that’s why I would say really just see for yourself!

Exactly. Photos and videos. And frankly, I trust my own eyes and what I see in front of me far more than anyone else’s opinion.

It is such a massive leap in fidelity, sharpness and smoothness that I am constantly amazed.

Let the haters hate or grumble or laugh or whatever - the sim looks SO good now that it just reads as amusing to me now.

and oh btw.

XP 12 also dropped a beta and now this is amazing too - huge huge improvements in many areas.

lovely time to be a simmer

So simmers that don't want to fly a sim filled with bugs, are "Haters'.... Oh, OK.

Yes @Bobsk8, people that are unrelentingly negative, have nothing nice to say ever, constantly belittle others, are both condescending and incorrect, are convinced they are always correct and everyone else is always wrong.. yes, those people are haters.

Oh and also, people that deliberately put words in other people's mouths, people that are only here to stir up trouble, people that will always do the forum equivalent of a gish gallop, false equvalency, whataboutism and all the usual debating tricks and logical fallacies - they are more like trolls than haters, but there are most certainly a bunch of people like that here.

I'm glad you're OK. I am wonderful as well.

Personally, I think the collective forum needs a slap on the word not allowed. The number of threads that end up being arguments between the "haters" and the "angels" has surpassed the number of all other threads combined.

This comment is a bit tone deaf. "Looks SO good now" is highly subjective to the end user. What you may pass off as "SO good" to another may be not as good as it should/can be. You are labeling anyone that disagrees with this as a "haters" and is wholly unwarranted and a gross mischaracterization of people.
