FS2024 Texture Bleed-Through at Airports

Featured Replies

I'm getting textures bleeding through the ground at all airports....(understandable at addon airports that aren't update). I created a new rolling cache and deleted scenery indexes, but the issue still remains. Is  anyone else experiencing this?

ah, it's been reported in the main forum as well. I guess it's only happening in PG areas

This is pathetic, it is a immersion breaker completely. Incredible how MS/Asobo miss these kind of things.

It happens at all airports that are in photogrammetry areas, not just addon airports.

I saw it happen at the default handcrafted KLAX and KSFO

This is in the SU1 Beta, the entire point of the test is to find and report these bugs.

It seems the apron material has become transparent.  I just started work on a new freeware airport and all the apron materials I put down are now see-through in Dev mode.  New materials are also transparent.  I know it's Beta though and it has been reported on the official forum....

Please report it and upvote that bleed through bug thread in the main beta forum.  The more people that upvote and report it in that thread, the higher the priority that bug becomes and Asobo will fix it in SU1. Thanks!

Uncheck the Ground merging checkbox for all layers and the transparency will disappear

In jurisprudence, there is a principle - you look for the person who benefits.

Doesn't seem to have any effect right now in the Beta Dev mode....they are still transparent for me.

I work in the current version and there are no problems here.

You are using the SU1 Beta?  The prior non-beta version was fine, I may have to roll back...
