I thought I would start a new thread on this subject since the old one is so long. Has anyone broken through and downloaded any of these "mountain" files. I keep getting the ole "Internet Explorer cannot display the Web page" message. This is getting very silly and there must be a better way.This stuff is way too valuable (and infinitely useful) to sit there in the blog and go to waste. I mean, come on!Anyone????fb

I agree, Frank! I've got all but five files installed for the Swiss/Italian Alps, but just can't seem to "get" those durn files completely downloaded... :-violin I managed to get the two new files uploaded here at AVSIM quickly and without anguish.I've done all but beg Frank to upload them here so more folks could get them, but apparently my pleas have fallen on deaf ears... :-lol

Oh yeah! After seeing the screen shots I jumped on those pupies immediately. That was the easy part. Thus far I've been unable to get a link to the files on Frank's blog. I thought maybe someone might have a trick - like maybe a particular time of day or something. Oh well, back to watching the "I can't hear you" messages. :-)fb

I've been able to download all the files, though I haven't installed them yet. My downloads came when the work was first recognized and the links still worked. In the translation of postings and the sorts, I have gotten the impression that the old links became invalid and Frank was looking for other options. But it's all Italian to me...If Frank needs or wants help uploading to Avsim I can do some of the files.

And here I thought it was all Greek. :-)It's my luck. If you don't get in at the start it's all down hill from there. Maybe you could find a place to store the files and let people get them from there. I know that is probably not in the cards but I would think that with all the interest that something could be done - I hope soon (pardon my drool).fb
