I am putting this here so that it doesn't get swamped in the other posts... Lots of mis-info.

So first off, you do not need to download any DLL's or swap any DLL's.

1.) Download new NVidia drivers. Install them

2.) Download new NVidia app. Install it.

3.) Restart PC.

4.) go in new Nvidia app, select MSFS2024,  and make sure that in DLSS override - Model presets is set to 'frame generation - Latest'.

5.) Download NVidia inspector. You need new version 2.4.0.8 https://github.com/Orbmu2k/nvidiaProfileInspector/releases/download/2.4.0.8/nvidiaProfileInspector.zip

6.) Run it and change the settings as per my pictures below.

7.) That's i! All done, go fly MSFS2024 in new DLSS4.

Thanks-looks good except that in the Nvidia app all DLSS options were greyed out for me.

I therefore went with the manual  steps described on the original Reddit post for cyberpunk and others on these forums and deleted the Nvidia app which was unfortunately not the solution for me

Me too - all greyed out....tried everything but they stayed grey for me.    Just used DLSS Swapper for now.

Yeah you can just use the override DLSSG multi frame count instead.

Just follow the guide above and you don’t need to swap any dll’s. That’s the point of it…Nvidia inspector is CHANGING the greyed out sections behind the scenes.

Where is that setting-in Nvidia profile inspector or the Nvidia app?

Inspector right next to the other override DLSS, you can see it in my pic above 🙂

So what is the point of the app then-I deleted it and everything's been fine for me..

Ok thanks. Also I believe Nvidia inspector and Nvidia profile inspector are two different apps

I dont have Override DLSS-SR presets - yet I am using the same version of NI - weird - day from you know what

The worse driver release ever - wish Asobo would get their stuff together

I already diD this method before seeing it - its ok but Autofps is a must - makes sim smoother

Clouds look like du du - startup times are bit better avg 30 seconds better so that nice Asobo - kind of why I got out of simming insane amount of time messing around 2024 was suppose to end all of that I guess not

There’s no point in it, at the minute.

Anyone that can’t do step 4, I assume it’s because you don’t use frame generation; so just ignore it. The rest still works fine.

Thanks-I tried the Cessna and it was breathtaking.

I guess with the Fenix I may need to use autofps.

Glad to know I'm not the only one who spends more time tweaking and chasing the holy grail then actually simming -nevertheless one step back and two forwards is what I'm thinking.

You still need to download DLSS Super Resolution 310.2.1 and swap out the old one with DLSS Swapper if you’re using DLSS mode within the sim. The DLSS Frame Gen selection does not provide that file. This is a big deal for VR users.

You don’t need to change any DLL files, they are dynamically changed if you do as per my guide.
