Hi Everybody,

Well, all was fine last ride. Today I turn on the computer and MS2020 just crashes to desktop. It won't even boot into safe mode. Do I have to do a reinstall?

Before you do reinstall, Copy/Paste your OneStore folder somewhere else. So when you reinstall everything, you copy/paste that folder back (where its supposed to go) and your 2020 download will be very...very shot. There are directions somewhere online for this.

Did you install the new Nvidia driver last week? I did and MSFS 2020 was crashing after checking for an update. I rolled the driver back to Decembers and the problem went away

Reinstalled an older driver and still had the same issue. Have to reinstall windows 10, October can't get here fast enough when they cut off Windows 10. The day I'll jump for joy!

I may be repeating what others have said. If you downloaded the latest nvidia app uninstall it. This will cure your problem. Until you do, you can reinstall 2020 as often as you like but the desktop crash will remain.

God that is frustrating. If this happens to me i won’t be reinstalling it.

No app, I had to get this working via swapping out dll files and Nvidia inspector.
