Even in 2020 with drone mode the walkarounds with GSX and seeing the details and reflections are truly something else. It's versatile too. Yesterday I did 12 1/2 hours LLBG-KEWR and today I did KEWR-KMIA 2 1/2 hours and now doing the return repositioning flight to KEWR so another 2 1/2 hour leg... February 13, 20251 yr In VR with fps in 36 (half 72hz) its almost impossible to use DLSS on Fenix. The numbers are too small on the altitude and speed scale. The AI can't predict what will be the next numbers because there's not a lot of pixels to analyze and generate next pixels during the motion. Especially in those low FPS. I agree, that is unusable. I wonder if some of it is aircraft dependent as my PMDG gauges look nothing like that. I don't have Fenix to test. Doesn't Fenix have the option to use different GPU's like iGPU and physical GPU together? Is it perhaps something to do with that? Is it just in VR? Have a Wonderful Day -Paul Solk

If you are using 2024 then wait for SU2 when DLSS4 will be officially supported and try again then. On my 3090 DLSS3 is far superior to TAA with no ghosting at all but if it wasn't good I simply wouldn't use it. Please explain to me how a technology that’s discards information and then upscales can be „superior“?

Well, all I can tell is that at least in VR the look of the scenery around me is much clearer with the new DLSS profiles than it is with TAA. Even the displays are quite sharp - if they don't change information. That's in fact the biggest downside of it.
February 17, 20251 yr If I'm not going to use DLSS4 or any other DLSS and I currently use FG with TAA are there any reasons to update the drivers to 572?

I fly the Fenix a lot and with a 4090 on 4k 77in OLED TV in HDR, latest drivers using DLSS4 with DLSS-DLAA set in side MSFS which means no downscaling, the numbers on the glass panel are still blurry, the flight director bars are blurry in turns and the night lighting at airports is way too dim. Anything beside TAA is rubbish if using primarily glass panel airplanes. Edited February 17, 20251 yr by B777ER Eric
