They were just blobs of awful PG and spiked trees and blobby buildings. People say PG is designed for above 1000 foot or so, so what about airports such as Burbank that are located in the epicentre of PG?! Cant they set an exclude or something? It looks horrendous to be honest. I agree.. this happens at other airports also. Someone needs to clean this up. 😊 Bert

From reading some past threads I believe you do a lot of VFR flying in Light aircraft Bert, I'm still sitting on the fence over 2024 but I'll probably cave at some point. Id appreciate your take on the Bug misery versus improvements ratio between 2020 and 2024 for this type of flying as of now?

I actually fly both IFR and VFR in my two favorite aircraft, the Vans RV14 and the Beech Bonanza. The experience in 2024 is so much better than in 2020, that I do not start up 2020 anymore. As for bugs.. it is mainly small stuff like inconsistencies in the aircraft selection screens that I notice.. but once I am in my airplane with my Garmin avionics, I really do not run into any problems. SU1 should be out in a week or so, and based on the Beta which I am currently running, is worth the wait. At that point, I can see no reason to warn you off.. I fly weekly flights with a small group of Avsim RTW friends, and we all agree on the visual improvements, as well as the smoothness of the sim, even when in heavy scenery. Bert
