The guy with the full cockpit in his house is flying a simulator. What would you describe a level D sim doing a loop in a 737 - a game? Post that MSFS is just a game with pretty pictures, and you deserve what you get. Who cares what people do and what people call it. I'm one of the the guys with a full cockpit I spent THOUSANDS on, use it only for realistic airline ops, simulate only planes that are compatible with my hardware and could care less if someone else calls it a game. I don't even know who posted that, what exactly do they deserve? LOL Edited February 11, 20251 yr by psolk Have a Wonderful Day -Paul Solk

That GAME is a very, very cool GAME, amazing to see how someone used a GAME to create something so GAMEY for what is ultimately a GAME on a GAMING computer. Puts my dedicated GAMING RIG for my GAMES to shame that's for sure, but I love all sorts of GAMES including Flight GAMEY GAMES, yay for GAMING! However, I think it much better to state, 'MSFS Flight Simulator is quite capable of enabling a very complex and realistic simulator to be created by the home user, that in many ways replicates how real pilots train - even to the extent of using real world navigation data and checklists'. Yes! And even when it was a simulator, the Microsoft Project Budget is probably still for a GAME. 🙂 It's indeed so funny how allergic some react on the word game. The thing is....a real Airline Simulator were pilots are trained in looks more gamey then MSFS2020 MSFS2024 AND EVEN P3D! They don't care about how the world looks.....they concentrate on flows, checks and Fly! Edited February 12, 20251 yr by mpo910 Regards, Marcus P.

February 12, 20251 yr There is a simple analogy for those insisting that much on the word „game“: A camping-van is a vehicle, like a car is. So technically they are both parts of vehicles. Now you can tell your friends you used your „vehicle“ to go visitting some nice places when you were using your camping-van. Everyone will think you meant your car when in fact you used your van and lived in it. This purpose sets them apart from a car which most people will understand as „vehicle“. So it doesn‘t make sense to call your van a vehicle rather than a camping-car (=what it is). So I don‘t get why some are stucked on calling a sim a game, although technically speaking they are part of video-games. Are they afraid of calling it a sim because they envy those using it as a sim? i9 12900k, RTX 3090, 32GB RAM

What does the word game or simulator actually change on your "product" you use? Nothing or? Why spending time trying to convince someone who says the product isn't a sim.....? Actually...it does not affect your product or the product at all....code = code.....a name is just a name....a word is just a summary of letters 🙂 But I respect your investment... Those who react "feel emotionally" downgraded the usage of their "sim" to a "game" and that downgrade, as they see it, does "hurt their ego". They want be like pilots simming Not like gamers gaming. But in the industries wording....they just play a game... As I do.....i go play my msfs now...and enjoy pretending I am a pilot Edited February 12, 20251 yr by mpo910 Regards, Marcus P.

Como hago... ahora voy a jugar a mis msfs... y disfruto fingiendo que soy un piloto. It's a role-playing game in your case hehehehe
