New patch for Feelthere Citation X

Recommended Posts

Guest ziporama

Yea! Loading the Flight Plan no longer causes a CTD, although I still get a lot of the LL01, LL02... waypoints because the Citation's database doesn't recognize all airports/navaids/waypoints in stock FSX. The INS alignment still breaks if reset or done after setting the current position in the FMS. These are minor annoyances, and I'm grateful for a patch for this unique aircraft.Etienne

If this doesn't work in the simulation, then that would indeed be a bug in the software.Jim Barrett

Well thanks. I asked because I'm having issues with this aircraft like it crashing FSX. I can live with the VC being visually unappealing, it does seem after all to be a FS9 aircraft converted to 'work' in FSX. However, there are bugs in this software and I paid nearly $50 for it so I was a little impatient to ask about the patch.I still can't log into your forum so I'll do as you suggest.

With you on the correct behavior of the alignment/fms sequence. As far as I can tell, it's not possible to reset the avionics once it enters this mode. The only way to have it "behave" is to align first, then set the FMS. Even turning off the avionics/battery doesn't seem to do it.I may have missed something here.Etienne
