I wonder if Asobo can do anything about the flickering propeller shadows on the fuselage.  On a lot of aircraft, not just this one.  I don't seem to remember them in 2020 so something must have changed.

As for the 185, yes, Ill take it.  Looks like a nice aircraft!

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

The one I eagerly have been waiting for. And it will be free. One could not wish for more. 🙂

could it be a RT issue?

Is that true? Could not find anything in reference to 2020...

Do you mean ray tracing?  If so, it is only applied to inside of cockpits in 2024, and I see the flickering inside planes like the Zlin Savage Cub, even though I have RT shadows turned off.

Reason being, it causes a performance hit, and I find shadows at 4096 or 6144 in the userconfig file does a very good job without a performance hit, so RT is fairly useless in the cockpit.
If anything they needed to apply it globally so we don't get those poor screen space reflections of water around the cockpit / flightdeck window frames, but I would hate to think what the performance hit would be for that!

Good guess though!  I am wondering now if it is the new 3D prop effects causing it rather that the old bitmapped prop disks we used to get.

At the end of the video, I saw msfs 2020 & 2024. Maybe is just updates and not the plane. For me it doesn't matter. I own both sims.

MSFS

I guess we have to wait another 10 days now.

Need a Black Square overhaul on this plane. GTN750/KLN90 options and all the under the hood wear and tear items. We need a great study level/system rich float/ski/land plane and this one looks like a great option. Did you notice how the ski has physics when in the video it bounces off the snow and the back end drops down? Man I remember when wheels didnt have rolling animation.

Maybe 2020 will get it but hardly for free.

The 185 is growing on me, and I've been flying it a lot. But I had to turn down sensitivity on rudder and especially the brakes. I have them both -78 instead of 0. The brakes are the worst until I tuned them down.

Good grief, the pilot viewpoint is way too low.

Another woefully inadequate Carenado/Microsoft team up. I feel a little bad for Carenado who I imagine would much prefer to release a full version rather than the rushed cut-down versions they seem to be contracted to do now. I think this would have been much better if they could have released it themselves with the tablet etc. I know they weren't great at updating products before they got into bed with Microsoft, but they were better than this.

Yes it is. So I use the "Landing View" with this one plane only. Carenado must have been drunk on release day, LOL.
