@Stearmandriver  In one of your posts, you recommended a relatively 'expensive' payware used by pilots for analyzing landing.  Was it "tacview"?

IAN is confusing.  Believe me, you aren't the only one it confuses 😉.  I'll give you the breakdown on what it is and why it exists, but in general, yes... IAN is a specific mode of the avionics that c

Hmm I don't remember specifically what it was, but it wouldn't have been tacview - I've used that in DCS but never MSFS.  If I recommended something it was probably FSIPanel, but there are several options.

Stearmandriver should get a commission - I too bought it based on his recommendation, and I'll say, I ALWAYS pay attention to Stearmandriver's posts and have learned much from him.

I agree. @Stearmandriver, and @Bert Pieke (for GA avionics). Avsim's unsung heroes.

Hardware: i7-8700k, GTX 1070-ti, 32GB ram, NVMe/SSD drives with lots of free space.
Software: latest Windows 10 Pro, P3Dv4.5+, FSX Steam, and lots of addons (100+ mostly Orbx stuff).
