My first native-FSX plane is ready.

Recommended Posts

Today I've finished my first plane for FSX - it's Polish observation, close reconnaissance and army cooperation plane, designed in early-1930s. It's native FSX, including VC self-shadowing in Dx10 mode. It's already available here at Avsim:http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?DLID=121136?CatID=fsxachttp://img166.imageshack.us/img166/900/120...nrxiiitegl0.jpgI hope you like her :)

I don't think it's unbelievable at all :) The screenshots are very tempting and once you get to try her for yourself she's definitely a keeper!I think you've used FSX's bump-mapping just right and where it matters - I especially like the effect on the wing surfaces. Textures are nice and crisp, the VC is well detailed and comes with responsive gauges. Just about everything you'd expect to be animated, is.I don't know how the real thing flies so I can't comment on that. Judging by my short test flight she handles herself well though. The only nitpicks - and that's what they really are, as they in no way diminish the plane's value - I can come up with are:1) The "Aircraft type" dropdown menu lists this plane under "

You are right. Most of those 'dings' are my mistake, and I have to agree with you. I'll be more careful in future relases.Smiglowy jednosilnikowy means single engine propeller aircraft - I have Polish FSX version, and I haven't thought about it :|I can't judge flight dynamics too, unfortunately there are no real Lublins left, but we have short footage from 1935:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0gIrOlImraQThese are shots from Polish movie 'Baltic's Rhapsody'. Those planes are later G models than Lublin R.XIII ter.

What a nice aircraft :) congratulations. We do not see enough 1930's-era aircraft modelled for FS, this is great. And a floatplane too!I have always liked the Polish square ensign, with the red and white. In the USA, that is similar to the Ralston-Purina company logo.RhettE8500, Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro, ASUS P5E3 Premium, BFG 8800GTX 756 (nVidia 169 WHQL), 4gb DDR3 1600 Patriot Cas7 7-7-7-20 (2T), PC Power 750, WD 150gb 10000rpm Raptor, Seagate 500gb, Silverstone TJ09 case, Vista Ultimate 64

Holy smokes! Wonderful job with this. Your textures are incredible and this baby flies like a cream puff....it's just seeing the runway that gets tricky, even with TrackIR :DCongrats on a superb project, well done.

>Can't you just hang your head over the side? :)For maximum authenticity, place one desktop fan on each side of the monitor and have them blow past you. As you lean to the side, you'll feel the wind rushing against your face ;D
