Recommended Posts

I would like to know if there is a way to turn of that stupid glow in the vc in FSX . On the Carenado Mooney I can turn off the master this leaves me with lit gauges but they are all powered down I have tried the panel Lighting switch but everything goes dark .

Not sure what glow you are talking about, but if VC lights are to bright, you can try turning one or more of them off in the aircraft.cfg file and I think the gauge lights will still work.Comment out the lines that have the VC lights in the 'LIGHTS' section of the aircraft.cfg file by adding '//' in front of it. It will look like this://light.4 = 4, -6.50, 0.00, 4.80, fx_vclightMake sure you back the file up first.
