Will SU1 give users the option to start in the cockpit

and avoid the need to remove engine covers etc in a walk around?  I see there is a utility work around for this but wondered if it's being addressed in this SU.

Nope.

We'll see this be addressed in third party aircrafts I reckon, by either not having those at all, or going with 2020 style control by EFB type thing. A bit like how you can open engine cowlings on some airplanes.

This might be addressed for the first party planes but that's going to come down much much later I reckon.

You can just press Shift-C though to skip the walkaround?

Somebody mentioned you can remove everything with one click in developer mode. You can search for that thread here at Avsim.

Flightsim.to has a Pop Up Panel app that has instructions on changing a file, that will put you in the cockpit. It works.
