repainting aircraft

HiI'm interested in learning how to repaint fsx aircraft. I have looked on the internet for tutorials but they were all for older versions of flight simulator or were no good.Does anyone know of any good repainting tutorials or have any beginners tips for me?These would be much appreciated.
