March 8, 20251 yr I’ve been doing some experimenting with the PMDG B737 in the new sim and found that by and large, it’s mostly functional, with a few caveats. if one wants to start at a gate, it appears you have to spawn from the runway, and taxi over to the gate, shutting the engines down once you’re parked. After that, you can do the normal boarding (I use GSX) cockpit prep and eventual push back. One note: I found that if I go outside the aircraft with my virtual pilot, that once back inside, the switches in the cockpit freeze and can no longer be manipulated. So that may be a limitation. But all in all, I’m pretty pleased with the plane and its functionality. https://www.mediafire.com/view/dz3buh31pti9cej/BoeingDriverSignature.jpg/file

March 9, 20251 yr i have the problem with PMDG737 so i can not release the parking brake at the gate. i have set an command into the sim settings for it (button) but the parking brake will not release. any other have solved this?
March 9, 20251 yr Author Have you tried pressing the B key on the keyboard twice? I’ve found this plane, for some reason, won’t release the brakes unless I press it twice, instead of the usual once. https://www.mediafire.com/view/dz3buh31pti9cej/BoeingDriverSignature.jpg/file

Push both pedals down and hold. Then release the parking brake For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.

Then release the parking brake Speaking for myself, I haven’t been able to get this to work for me in MS2024, and I think, like the missing HUD, it’s something PMDG will need to fix for the new sim. https://www.mediafire.com/view/dz3buh31pti9cej/BoeingDriverSignature.jpg/file

Also set brake to simple and press a defined button did not work here. so i have to fly 737 in 2020 for longer time. But justflights Rj 70 to 100 works Great in 2024. Edited March 9, 20251 yr by Alti
March 10, 20251 yr I installed the 737-600 after SU1 and to my surprise I couldn’t find anything so far that doesn’t work, all liveries, Simbrief flightplan import and Navigraph charts included. Even the HUD is fully functional. And this little Boeing is still and again a pleasure to fly! Honestly, I don’t know why PMDG doesn’t officially release it for the 2024. March 10, 20251 yr I’ve said this a few times in other threads but the only major flaw I’m finding are the T/A and R/A’s with the transponder on. I exclusively fly online so it’s not really doable. That said, I only have the 700 & 800… does the 600 not have this issue?
March 11, 20251 yr I wonder if it's possible after you initially taxi back to a gate- to save your default state with engines running so next time you load you do it at the gate with engines running. Would this make a difference ? Regards, Max (YSSY) i7-12700K | Corsair Vengeance LPX 64GB 3600MHz DDR4 | Gigabyte RTX4090 24Gb | Gigabyte Z690 AORUS ELITE DDR4 | Corsair HX1200 PSU
