I’ve been deeply involved in aviation and mechanical design for years, and I’m currently developing a high-fidelity Bell 407 replica pedal set for flight simulators. My focus is on making them as realistic as possible. One thing I’m trying to confirm is the actual pedal travel distance in a real Bell 407. Based on my CAD work, I’m seeing about 6 inches of total movement, but I’ve come across sources suggesting up to 12 inches, which doesn’t seem to match my design. Does anyone have first-hand experience with Bell 407 pedals? Or better yet, any drawings or measurements that could clarify this?
