The updates are slow, most of my 2020 content hasn't been updated - what a waste of money I think that you're a minority here, ORBX 2020takes a little longer for me because it has to check almost 60 products, compared to if it starts in 2024 almost instantly, because I have maybe 30 products. But I imagine as I add more 2024 products it will also slow down. But if products are not 2024 compatible why force the issue and when sim crash you complain. August 11, 2025Aug 11 Orbx are Cocky Arrogant small business people , they are so scared of criticism they actually check every single forum post before releasing it. Honestly, what forum has to approve every post before releasing it to the public? Tells you everything you need to know about these people. Block all criticism, constructive or not. If they were honest and proud of their product , they wouldn't be censoring their customers. Fear of people discovering their lies and arrogance is the only reason you censor people. The dload speed gives you fast speed for 1gig after that they throttle it to 700kbs and then on their 10 pages of complaints forum they Gaslight their customers and tell them its on their end. meanwhile every other site is no problem. I can post and it's immediatley visible so whilst they are not my favourite seller NIck on the forum does tend to respod to posts quickly even if it's not what you want to hear. Clearly you have an issue with them, But best stick to the facts and not make stuff up eh. August 11, 2025Aug 11 My problem with Orbx which I have dealt with repeatedly. On their app with two factor authentication. It's screwed. I was ready to get two airports and the bloody thing wouldn't email me to get in their site even if I was registered and paid for several of their products. I'm sick and tired of their BS authentication process. Never had this problem with over a decade of dealing with SimMarket. Ryzen 7 5800x, 64gb, 7900XTX 24gb
August 11, 2025Aug 11 I have had perfect customer experience with ORBX over the course of 10 years. Purchased tons of sceneries for both p3d and MSFS. Simply and easy. A few years ago I purchased one of their products twice (by an accident). Money were refunded automatically. 9950X3D, X870E ROG CROSSHAIR HERO, Corsair Dominator Titanium 64GB DDR5-6000 PC5-48000, ASUS RTX 5070Ti 16GB, 9100 PRO 4TB Samsung ,990 PRO 4TB Samsung, AX1600i 1600 Watt 80 Plus Titanium ATX, ASUS 360 ARGB EXTREME 360mm Liquid CPU Cooling Kit.

Why do you need two factor authentication for online shop with non-recurring purchases? General security? especially if their card details are stored on Orbx. Generally I have 2FA on as many stuff as I can. Though tbh I can't share the same experience as @lenny777 2FA works fine for me on Orbx.

Having it in Chrome is more than enough and sufficient for ALL online purchases. Yes, there are certain risks, but CC fraud is less risky and 100% reversible, then Debit Card fraud, so I'm not worrying a lot. 9950X3D, X870E ROG CROSSHAIR HERO, Corsair Dominator Titanium 64GB DDR5-6000 PC5-48000, ASUS RTX 5070Ti 16GB, 9100 PRO 4TB Samsung ,990 PRO 4TB Samsung, AX1600i 1600 Watt 80 Plus Titanium ATX, ASUS 360 ARGB EXTREME 360mm Liquid CPU Cooling Kit.

Not to mention not everyone has a CC so reversing a transaction isn't always an option. No harm to be proactive rather than reactive. Regardless having 2FA is fairly harmless to add whilst also providing a fairly good form of secondary protection (assuming we're talking about OTAs).
